GU14 Gold Narrowly Miss Challenge Cup Title Game goes down to kicks from the mark The GU14 Gold team battled a tough Snohomish United Elite team to a scoreless tie after regulation and the extra periods were played. From there it went to kicks from the mark and our Rangers went to the seventh kicker, before Snohomish came out on top in a 1-0 thriller. The players, coaches, board and all the Ranger supporters are very proud of their effort. They are still winners in our book, kicks are a tough way to lose any match.
If you see the players around, remember to congratulate them on a fine run in the Challenge Cup this year. Players are: Katherine Bachenberg, Kaytlyn Steele, Stephanie Reed, Nikki Scheck, Kimberlyn Cooper, Kelly Hayden, Leah Thomson, Michael Urbano, Gabriela Nunez, Brooke Steinberg, Anna Erickson, Kaitlyn Holmgren, Daisha Zwick, Amy Wilson, Tanya Haggen, Emma Cowan-Young, Lauren Frey, Coach Kai Edwards, Assistant Coach Amber Young.
