    Travis, the WFC Rangers GIrls' Technical Coordinator, is one of WFC Rangers' most experienced coaches, and he brings an illustrious playing and coaching background to the club. Travis has been the head women's soccer coach at Western Washington University for 17 years and he also coached the Vikings' men's team for 10 years. At WWU, Travis has been named conference coach of the year three times and NCAA western regional coach of the year twice. In his 13 years with WFC Rangers, Travis has coached boys' and girls' teams to five Washington Youth Soccer Championship Cup semifinals and an RCL Division 1 championship. Travis also has coached at Oak Harbor High School and served on the Washington State Olympic Development Program's coaching staff. After a four-year career at Seattle Pacific University, where he won an NCAA Division II national title in 1993, Travis played in indoor professional soccer leagues for the Everett Bigfoot and Lafayette Swampcats. Travis, who holds the United States Soccer Federation's 'A' national license and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Director of Coaching Diploma, also served as WFC Rangers director of coaching from 2003 to 2010. Travis likes to say that "sport mirrors life, so coaching soccer is a wonderful opportunity to teach teamwork, problem solving, self-discipline and respect."
